About Me
Hello my name is Anna and I'm the baker behind Oh Crumbs!
I'm a home baker working from our family home in central Duns, Scottish Borders.
Baking cakes is my hobby and my passion, which I learned as a little girl with my Grandma who was a skilled cake-maker who specialised in intricate fondant icing.
In time I inherited all her baking equipment, from her traditional iron griddle for Welsh cakes,
through to her trusty pastry roller and even her hand-made apron. I love to wear her apron when I'm baking, it brings back so many happy
memories.
I also inherited my Grandma's standards for using only the best ingredients and traditional recipes; my baking uses natural products
without cutting corners - no cheap margarine, artificial cream or fillers around here - I make sure everything tastes just as good as it looks!
All my ingredients are bought fresh for each custom order and are the quality you would expect from home baking including pure Scottish butter and local free-range eggs. I work to each client's brief to achieve the theme,
the look, the colours and the flavour of the finished cake. Each cake is unique, you'll never find another like yours, anywhere else.

A bit about Oh Crumbs!
I've baked for family and friends for years, they're my original fan base and of course enthusiastic taste testers. It was the support and encouragement
of these lovely people that finally persuaded me to open up my cake-making to a wider audience.
As a hobby business I hold myself to the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and customer service. I am registered and inspected by Scottish Borders Council and am fully insured.
